# TRNSFR Features

## What TRNSFR is

Automated large-file delivery for Etsy sellers. Up to 1 GB per file (vs Etsy's 20 MB native limit), AV-scanned uploads, branded download portals, per-order link protection, and direct Etsy API integration.

## Core capabilities

### File delivery

- **Maximum file size:** 1 GB per file. Etsy's native attachment limit is 20 MB.
- **Total storage:** no cap; billed per TB per month. First TB is £20/month on top of the order tier; each additional TB is £17/month.
- **File types:** any file type.
- **Per-file downloads:** bundles of 5 GB+ split cleanly into separate per-file downloads with their own counters, so refunds and re-sends are surgical.
- **Resume on drop:** large downloads resume cleanly if a buyer's connection drops.

### Security

- **AV-scanned uploads:** every file is virus/malware scanned before it can be delivered. Suspicious files are auto-quarantined; the seller is notified.
- **Clean-scan badge:** buyers see a clean-scan badge on each file, so they trust the download.
- **Encrypted in transit & at rest:** TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest. Files are stored in EU-hosted cloud storage.
- **Per-order signed URLs:** every download URL is signed and locked to a specific Etsy order. Sharing the URL doesn't share the file.

### Buyer experience

- **Branded download portal:** the customer download portal looks like your shop, not a generic file viewer. Per-shop branding.
- **Customer find-my-order:** buyers retrieve their files at https://help.trnsfr.io using their Etsy order number and email.
- **Personalised PDF per order:** TRNSFR auto-generates an on-brand PDF for each Etsy order and attaches it to the Etsy order via the official API. The PDF links to the buyer's download portal.

### Seller controls

- **Per-order expiry windows:** set how long each order's download links stay live. Global default with per-order override.
- **Device caps:** limit downloads to a maximum number of devices per order to stop link sharing.
- **Multi-shop:** run multiple Etsy shops from one TRNSFR dashboard. Independent files, orders, branding, and templates per shop.
- **Folder organisation:** organise files into folders and link files to specific Etsy product listings.
- **Custom PDF template:** add the personal message and product details for the buyer-facing PDF. When you update the template, TRNSFR regenerates and re-pushes every affected PDF on Etsy automatically.

### Etsy integration

- **Direct Etsy API:** TRNSFR uses Etsy's official Open API. No Zapier, no plugins, no listing changes.
- **Setup time:** typical seller is live in 15 minutes (connect Etsy, upload files, link to listings).
- **Allowed by Etsy:** TRNSFR complies with Etsy's seller and developer terms. Your listings stay on Etsy; TRNSFR layers automated delivery on top.
